I find Penn Station hellish, unbelievably dysfunctional in the way it handles its traffic. If you already know your way, you’re fine; but newcomers are invariably lost. However, I do like watching commuters staring at the oracle of the departure board until it flutters, revealing their platform number, with mere minutes to board. Then there’s a stampede. (0284)
